Did they get you for expired registration too?
This thing does drive freakishly well though. I piloted it to eat wings saturday night and it did very well in all tests except the "slalom course". The brakes were a bit on the weak side, but a little more bleeding and I think they'll be good. Also, the shifter requires an inebriated co-pilot, as do the window switches, but they "work" which is more than can be said about most Land Rovers. :)
I will have to say, it is the tallest Discovery I've ever seen. Can't wait to see how it does in Clayton.

The drivers side tail light was/is out too
-
I think it's been out as long as I've know Flem. :)
-
all i got pinched for was the registration, though I did have to sit in the cold for half an hour while waiting for the man's decision
it could have been the much worse 'driving like an asshole' charge

so I've been fighting an oil leak for probably 2 years. Tonight I found it after a year of throwing parts at it trying to make it go away. The oil was leaking through the electrical plug of the oil pressure switch.
-
made it to work, if it makes it home I think its good to go
-
Dammit, the oil pressure sender? That's the same kind of leak we had on Jimmy's boat. I didn't know there was a sender down there on the front of the motor on a rover. Glad you finally found it.
Congrats on making it to work. Any of your coworkers say anything?
-
no one said anything yet. sender is on the passenger side of the timing cover, the fan must have been blowing it everywhere.
