Though I have been screwed after making reservations online for hotels in one-horse towns (also uhaul and car rentals) and when I got there they told me that they didn't get the reservation and didn't have a room (trailer, car) for me and that was that. Doesn't hurt to call and talk to the actual place responsible. At the very least it keeps my heart rate down and saves valuable time spent being an a$$hole to a poor night desk employee
