3 link front and dual triangulated 4 link in the rear, ballistic has some cheap brackets to make everything come along alot faster and cleaner
or link the the front and leafs in the rear but that seems like a step backward for a TJ whose stock suspension works very well at low lift heights (too tall and you get to lift tires)
sucks that you are going to miss out on that fun
You should buy a longarm kit and brackets. Make it as easy as possible so you might get it done.
uh oh... i heard of a rumor that this thing might be coming back with a new look... the dream will never die... looking at unique old trucks and such to throw on there and I already have a volunteer to get it runnning for me... the frontrunner right now is a 1952 willys overland truck 4x4... i would just mount the body on the bronco frame and wire it up and it would be ready to go
choo still gotta dee 60 mang?
what?
have you sold the d60? is that what you plan on putting under the bronc frame?
putting it back... will be the 351, c6, 203/205, 60, 10.25 just like before but will look cooler with a willys overland truck body. Will be running 37's since that is what I have now... this is just in the imaginary stages but I have found out that they are out there for less than 1k
yes... but I said in this post that someone else was going to do it for me this time
Si, I understand now, didn't get that they were going to do the wiring part
full widths on a willys truck is going to have the tires completely outside the fenders. keep it low and it will look tits.
The day has come to where I can no longer say this rig can come back in some state or another. A deposit was put down on the engine and it will be picked up tomorrow. Frame will be scrapped and my wife will get to park in the garage until I tear something else apart.
Any chance the frame is the same general shape as a 93 f-150? The thought of using it to box my frame came to mind.
I know it's shorter but from about the back of the front seats to the front frame rails should be the same right?
I guess... It has been beefed up already. You could easily put a cab on it and cut down the bed. It is currently setup for front and rear leaf springs
