thanks for the input, I had no Idea that it was even a possibility. I mean it only weights 3 tons and has a v8 and 35's.

Take out the mini spool and weld it. I have heard many horror stories besides cooks, from people with mini spools in nine inch's. I'm not trying to be a dick just save you some carnage.

Is welding better than a mini-spool?

Yes, mini spool are notorious for the crosspin fagging out and bad things happpen inside the diff. This is info I recall from when I read about cheap traction aids for the 9" years ago.
