Good plan, except use the boat tank I have, run 32s and don't weld the front
This is as my apt and might be the cleanest b2 I have seen. Even has molded body kit-esque mud flaps
This thing only needs a battery and a track bar to dominate the Baja course.
For the gas tank, get a stock tank and figure out how to mount it so it wont get FUBAR'd. This way you will have a gauge and it will help avoid Karling out on the trail. Also less likely to leak. Also cheap.
Don't weld the front if you want to be able to steer worth a damn, or unless you want to get out and unlock your hubs every time you want to turn
are you talkin bout sharpe's 36's?? should make a good baja course truck...
Sam, stop it. If you try to put those axles under it you're going to Sparling it all up. Keep the stock axles and wheel it.
**** you. At least I work on my **** and not sit around all day playing Minecraft.
sam called that ****
so there was a video on here with a running 302, what happened to that? you're keeping the sthuper awesome v6 im assuming?
dana 30's suck if you want to run anything bigger than 33's and actually do anything with it. I bet you could find a full width 44/ 8.8 or 9 inch that would go great in that thing, until then you should wheel the piss out of it until it falls apart :gigem:
what did the 5 speed come out of, because I'm pretty sure they only offered a 4 speed on an 84, they didnt go to 5 speeds until 85.
you should put a piolin sticker on the bumper and drive around really slow. Thats all bronco 2s are good at.
I've got a d44 front that could make its way to that thing.
Yea, welding the front would be hard on axles, and hard on steering. I ran welded front for years and broke plenty of d44 shafts and joints with 35s and 36s. You can steer with it, if you run wheels with enough backspace. The 30 can hold up with 35s locked if you put the shafts with the big joints in it, not sure what you've got, TJs and XJs came with the big joints.
