$50-$70 in steel. Plus the cost of recovery points at $15 each, plus the cost of the hinge and latch around $70 or so.
I like this site. . .
swing out stuff here. . . http://shop.jeeptubes.com/product.sc...8&categoryId=9
recovery points. . . http://shop.jeeptubes.com/product.sc...&categoryId=10
cool latch . . . http://shop.jeeptubes.com/product.sc...&categoryId=10
I have a spindle setup that i never used if you do a swing out tire carrier
coolest design ive seen is where you use an actual spindle and hub from a truck. works the same and it doubles for a spare lockout.
i would make it swing out from the opposite side so it is easier to see out the back window from the drives seat
use an over center draw latch, the spring loaded stuff will rattle and sound like ass.
i was just thinking of welding a nut in the bumper and use a t-shaped handle bolt and tighten that down
I think i'll just start with the tube, reciever and d rings. Then when the money comes i'll do the tire carrier :gigem:
some more bumper builder stuff

That stuff looks beefier and is less expensive.
I just got my new axleshaft in the mail. I'll put that in tomorrow and start ordering bumper parts this weekend. Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of spring break:gigem:
I put a bottle of lucas in my trans. it actually worked, getting the axleshaft done on monday
i thought that you were gonna sell it cause you needed something more dependable
Well, my parents might be moving to germany this summer, so i'll be driving this

Is your name Earl???
I was fatter and had hair back then
You really need to take that bronc wheelin with us on our next Co. trip! It has no where near enough body damage! :D
You haven't seen it up close
rust has done most of the body damage. I dented my fender at soggy bottom:flipoff2:
I drove by soggy bottom today and all i can say is that the only vehicle going through there any time soon is a boat
its 4wd again finally
A couple days ago i tightened my oil pan bolts because it was leaking. (I wouldn't normally do this unless they are really loose because i don't want to split the cork gasket) the bolts were really loose though. And AMAZINGLY, for the first time since i have owned it, it DOES NOT LEAK OIL ANYMORE. great success:gigem:
