I don't know the specs but it's pretty capable and he's not afraid to wheel it! :gigem: Plus he likes BLS, so he's a good guy in my book!

I don't think he is the one that does the "throwing"
Point for hot pocket
Overall I feel like it was a great newb trip.
They were all pretty hesitant but after a little peer pressure and hazing, they started to push their vehicles a little harder.
Wish there would have been a few other older members with rigs to help out, but they did great for a first trip out. We just nee to emphasize the need for proper recovery points, and tow straps next time.
as long as sam is on top of his job they have to sign the waiver when they first sign up, and then sam is supposed to keep the forms and bring them to every event
Hooks are bad. You want fully captured shackle mounts.
Damn, well that's what I've got for now. I don't have a way to mount any other points without drilling. The hooks have a latch on the backside though- not load bearing of course.
Start a buildup thread so we can discuss this further.
Factory style tow hooks are really your best and only option on stock bumpers.
They will work fine for now.
I would check out ebay for a rear TJ hook.
These are what I use in the front:

I have some factory ones that can be had for a log of cope long cut.
I will not take money
Great deal on some 1" recovery shackle tabs in Houston.

Que?
Well the ones I got were $15 a piece from TSC and are rated to 10,000lbs which is the same if not better than the factory ones. I didnt see any real way to mount a shackle without welding, and like yall said I might as well make a bumper. Hopefully Ill get a tire carrier and front for xmas, heh heh
This looks like it turned out to be a pretty good trip! I really hope that you new guys will be able to come out with us for the Halloween run. Trust me, it's going to be off the chain!
