I got a new job and won't have any time accrued between now and clayton to take off with so I canceled my room at the A&A. It's room #2 if any one wants to pick it up. Have fun without me guys!
Crikey! Doin what?
Environmental Analyst at Kimley-Horn and Associates' Dallas office. I'll be doing mostly, NEPA compliance, wetland delineations, SWPPPs, ESA surveys. . . things of that nature.
So when I do not get some min wage laborer to clean out my storm drain construction bags 2 hours after a rain, you are going to ticket me?:flipoff2:
scott, you by any chance have an open spot on your trailer?
Right now it looking like Landon and I might be swapping trailers although I would rather pull someone from Houston and not deal with the hassle of getting my trailer back from Baytown. I'll keep you in the loop. Whatever trailer I use, it will need room for Busa's chassis and Lynda's Jeep - I plan to deliver it back to Busa on the way up.
Danny "Magnum" White is a deffinate probably.
I changed my mind from no to maybe.
last year i broke the toyota day 1 then rode around in casseys tubed samurai the rest of the weekend, that was fun but i know i dont want to try those same trails with the toyota until i build a roll cage. Who usually leads the non "trail of destruction" runs? Also are there any good online maps of the place? I saw one last year and havent found it
Well after a solid night of drinking at the TAMOR north headquarters, there has been the discussion of a full on Klayton Khristmas Khallenge. This Khallenge will be a series of events that normally take place during our spectacular winter extravaganza, but instead they will now all be in compassed into something of historical and monumental excellence.
Although the scoring system has yet to be decided or the prize, the event will include:
$25 Chawktaw casino challenge
Clayton hill climb dash
Sweet baby jay's Lush Mellow Crunch eat off
Hit rowdy in the nuts log splitting and karl's tire gauge beej
A&A dump off
And lastly...
Tater hill taver travel challenge
Suggestions are welcomed, but the chance are I or tamor north will tell the to f off, take the challenge and be a man or cry home to your bronco.
P.s. There are some hidden secret challenge along the way, but only if you complete the above.
What are you planning on doing with my tire gauge?
Demonstrating his skill at playing the skin flute
That was Jimmys idea
Tater Hill Round-up - See who can wrangle the biggest local chick and bring her back to the A&A.
We were thinking whoever comes up with the most creative way of getting there and back but hey we won't get in the way of your good time.
Just throwing it out there for you meddling kids
I say we move discussion of the Klayton Khristmas Khallengle to the kitchen and out of the public section of the board. Just my thoughts.
So Friday the 16th will be a full day of wheeling right? I'll probably have to leave saturday
Anyone staying Sunday this year? I have company Christmas party Thursday. Not sure how that got scheduled there, but I'll be out late Thursday again. Was planning on leaving at noon. :(
I'd be up for it.
I think Scott will be coming to my house Thursday night and we will head to Clayton Friday morning. Should be there around 9ish. David if you dont want to drive all the way up Thursday you can come and stay here.
I think we mention this every year but never end up doing it. What about the two other parks in Clayton? Frielings north of town and Hurliman ORV se of town. Who all has been to these and are they worth it? Since I am going up early Thurs (hell I might go up Wed depending on work) I would like to wheel something different.
I dont know about Hurliman ORV but to wheel Frielings i think all you have to do is call him. Try this number 918-522-4244. I may be up for wheeling Frielings one day.
Seems like Hurlimans is some old info. There is something south of town around where the old 3 stage was, that may or may not be open.
Is Weeble Wobble coming?
yes
yes and hes bringing a girl ;)
Id be up for Frielings one day. Maybe Friday morning head out there
