did no one tell garret to disconnect his sway bars? his jk should have plenty of flex
doubt he knows what that is
Tommy, you are an idiot... hahaha
Great time. I was shocked to see the park almost empty. I was way off in my prediction there. It was awesome having it all to ourselves, just flying through all of the trails. I saw parts of the park I had never seen. The recent water made every little hole full of water. Made it fun. I didn't see any dust until the main roads late on Saturday. That was nice for a change.
That sucks about your wrist John. We were moving at a better pace than 10MPH. You hit it hard. Could have been any of us also.
I mean I have every tool that I could need in the back of my Jeep, but you can't say that people should have extra shafts and crap. Do you know how expensive JK shafts are? Stub is $65 at the cheapest, inners and outers start at a cool $149. And which one do you get? 30 passenger? 44 driver? It's just not practical unless you are made of money, or you drive something that was made during the ****ing oil embargo :haha: Not attacking you at all broham, just saying...
Sorry to hear this, that really sucks. The scaphoid bone is one of the last bones you ever want to break, takes forever to heal compared to the radius and ulna. I broke the scaphoid in my right hand and was in a full hand cast for months. And when I say full hand cast, I mean forget about using that hand for awhile. I'm going to try to attach a pic of what I mean, but I'm not sure if it's gonna work on my phone.

Wrong thread bro (zach)
Its okay Sam, tommy is just too hardcore now, he's got a dedicated s*** rig. :D
I think for a vehicle which requires a stub shaft to drive, a $65 stub shaft is good insurance. $200 in fluids and tools makes you almost completely self sufficinent.
oh sorry, all hail the all powerful thuper moderator tummy
The stub doesn't even need to still have ears on it!
No one got my gas money reference? ****ing new army...
Haters gonna hate.
Here are my pics.

BTW, I'm going to sell the Honda & Trailer. I bought Kevin's yellow Suzuki in the pics. Let me know if you know anyone who wants one. It worked awesome. He's getting a RZR, so I'm buying his at trade-in value.
i have a friend looking at 4 wheelers. send me specs and price and another friend who would probably want the trailer,
acolman@fabcorp.c o m
So I don't junk up the thread anymore, here are the details: http://www.tamor.org/forums/showthre...194#post285194

Jeff i didnt know you were goin down in the creek or i would have stayed down there.
Surgery on Monday to put a screw in my scaphoid:( Hopefully the ligaments are ok so I do not have to get pins put in. Possibly just a splint afterwards for a few months instead of a cast. That would be nice
High deductible because I am young and invincible blah blah blah:( I will have to change that next reenrollment.
It felt fine this weekend so I worked with it and reinstalled my steering ram, spliced my winch rope back together, and tore the winch setup off the 04 in prep for the new bumper. Was pretty aching that night. Chest is ok. Knee is still pretty sore and I will probably have to get it looked at. Will probably need some TAMOR assistance in installation of the new bumper and winch
Sucko
Hopefully I will be fully healed to win TCC X again:gigem:
Just a screw or a plate too? I have 5 screws in my wrist. It healed pretty quick and there wasn't any pain after surgery. My arm was completely numb for 2 days after surgery though. Let me know when you need help.
He didn't mention plates. Dr. is very smart guy but was poor at describing the injury in simple terms. Seems like it will be pretty routine though. The impact fractured several other bones in the hand in a pattern that is not really typical. I am getting a 2nd opinion tomorrow just to be sure. If left untreated, it can cause arthritis later, which I don' want.
Thanks for the offer. I was planning on just taking it over to Travis' and getting some guys to help out. I haven't told Travis this yet.:)
Yeah, I've already got some arthritis in my wrist but I only ever have issues with it when it's cold.
