Soon to be diesel smoke metallic
Is that next to gay-boy green in the diesel douche catalog?
Zach do you just sit around and think of douchy things to say? Maybe if you cut that **** out and helped people wrench you wouldn't be vice president for the 3rd time in a row.
Who the **** am I gonna 'help' wrench? Nobody ever asks for my help and I can guarandamntee you that nobody wants it. And like I give a ****...
Keep that **** out of my thread!

Any TTB guru's:
I seem to have some serious camber issues, could it be 4 inch coils in the 6 inch lift holes or could it be something corrected by an alignment?

if you replaced the 6" coils with 4" then yes it will do that, you will need to get some adjustable camber bushings that will correct the issue. most alignment shops should be able to do that
Like Tommy said, if the radius arms are for 6" and you have 4" coils it will do that. You might be able to correct it at an alignment shop. Too bad Sparling sold my 6" coils to the scrapper...
I was trying to ask if that looked like it could be from 4 inch coils or if a simple alignment would fix? it.
What was the last move you made with the truck before you noticed this? Was it backing up? Try pulling forward and see if it looks better. Mine and Karl's would look like the that when driven in reverse...it's just something TTBs do.Quote:

If it's like that all the time...then yes you might be able to align it with camber bushings but you might as well move the traction beams to the 4" lift holes.
TTB, it does what it wants!
That was a bad time in my life when I scrapped ttb, however my brother has the lift stuff to go on his ttb someday.
the rattle can paint job is nearing completion, I imagine it would look pretty good with some wet sanding and a clear. Has anybody ever used the spray can clear? Hopefully this stuff sticks, I scuffed, cleaned and acetoned the whole body (and some bondo work ;))
two notes:
-When estimating number of cans, double it
-don't use rustoleum sandable primer, it is expensive and ****.

Hey man, that actually looks pretty damn clean. Especially for a rattle can... nice job.
not too bad I guess, hope it lasts

Comparatively, that's the best flat-ish black I have ever seen on a vehicle minus a few custom jobs and supercar factory stuff.
And me encanta flat black :D
Looks good Travis, nice color :gigem:
It's not flat black....its a charcoal metallic
The test fender came out more shiny and metalic... But I do like the flatness

From my experience with rattle can clear coat, do not spill any gas on it while filling up, it will f' up big time
Should I cut the rear quarter panels and build a bumper/slider that wraps, or just go with a simple bumper? This will be for temporary DSO wheeling until it becomes a baja-racer... ;)
Leave it.
grille painted and installed

I would go with a more simple bumper, if it is just going to be temporary
What is wrong with the tail lights?
Needs new headlights.
I say cut the rear quarter and do wrap around bumper.
Looks good.
The cheapest headlights I've found are $150 ish:eek:... The current ones will get polished
Think ill go ahead and build some tube bumpers.
Confused. That was done on purpose?
Had two old tail lights, then broke one. Got one new one from advanced and it made the other look terrible so I wet-sanded and tinted both tail lights.
So you made something meant to be bright, less bright, in the name of cosmetics?
Killed it.
I have the 'new' ones from the bronco in my shop. I got them new from ford when I first built it back when it was nice.
O no, I got it, just needed to confirm that someone would actually do that
It's like purposfully making the exhaust from your truck dark and visible so that everyone can see it
