New balljoints and tie rod ends on the Ranger, fixed most ofthe wiring issues on the trailer. Still haven't touched the Bronco since Shiloh. Got to do that tonight and get it al loaded up.
8 hour trip for me with traffic. If I leave at 5, will not get in till late.
Anyone else going to be headed that way up 35 through Dallas that wants to meet up? Probably coming through Dallas around 10ish?
JB, you need to knock on Nicks door and tell him to hop in for the ride. We've been pestering him about going...
Sharpe and I saw him last weekend and were trying to get him to go.
remind him that Greg and Rose will be there too!
Anybody backing out who has a room reserved still? I could use one. Will call them in the morning.
Got the new driveshaft installed and the klogger loaded on the trailer. Be leaving Crosby around 4 pm with a Polish navigator.
Let's do this!

Leaving Dallas tomorrow around 7.
Who is leaving from College Station tomorrow?
Weeble and I are tomorrow sometime.
I will be leaving Denton about 8ish tomorrow evening. Still have not looked at the Jeep. I think I will just load it and see what happens.
We (Hippy Eric, Brian Colman, myself, Lynda) plan to leave Houston before 4:30. Nick mentioned us possibly picking him up in Dallas at the airport? Got everything loaded up, now I just need to sneak out of work around 3:00 and we should be good.
I'm going to be in CS around 5 to pick up Junior and his GF. We should be on the road around 6.
Will be leaving CS early afternoon today, maybe around 2ish.
Evan, Tommy and I are leaving my place about dark today, be in Clayton less than 2 hours later
Change of plans. Weeble blew the motor in his truck. so he isn't going anymore. Looks like the jeep is making the trip.
No weeble? Boo. That sucks about his engine.
What is blown? Rod through the block? Headgasket?
I gotta cancel, some **** came up.
Thomas & I are leaving today around 5ish. Still have a couple open seats if anyone needs a ride.
Got the trailer wrapped up (new axles, brakes, lights) this morning. Finishing up the jeep now...
Probably be heading out around 5-6pm, any stragglers in H-town needing a ride give me a call.
Anyone with a room at the A&A have an extra bed/floor space? Shoot me a pm or text if ya do.
Nick is in - picking him up in Dallas on the way tonight!
Did weeble have a room booked?
Busa, if you have a trail seat still I will take it.

Our pre Clayton shenanigans
Waco
Just rolled up, only people here
Hey Dallas, I'm in waxahachie. Where y'all be?
Holy hell, epic trip!
Carnage:
Flem - Rolled Disco - bent roof cage, bent sheet metal, busted tail light. Sunday he discovered he had broken some rear axle flange bolts
Frick - Huffed the motor, started making noise Friday, he ran it all day Saturday until about 5:00 pm, then while extracting him, we de-beaded a tire
Heath (my neighbor) - Cracked his transmission in half
Hippy - Think there was a broken anti-wrap bar
Sam (In Jimmy's rig) - Broken rear axle shaft
Fred - Spit a u-joint cap out on a front shaft
JB - Broke a front shaft, repaired and continued wheeling
BDR - Poked a hole in his transmission
Evan - mystery jeep no start issue
Klogger - Friday had to tighten the t-case yoke and replace a hydro-assist hose steering fitting. Worked great until Saturday night when I broke a u-joint strap, which sent the driveshaft into the break line. Repaired the driveshaft, but no brakes. Then while finishing walk in the park, rolled on side (from what I am told it looked violent, I was quite comfortable) Upon righting the vehicle the power steering pulley exploded, leaving me without power steering, charging, or cooling. Then the starter solenoid decided to break. While being pulled back to the parking area I was unable to steer and became intimate with a tree on the passenger side, more body damage. Sunday morning when I awoke I found I had cracked the frame on the passenger side, significantly, in 3 places, but there is nothing wrong with the radio!
Lynda's Barbie Jeep - bent anti-wrap bar, cracked rear axle housing again at antiwrap bar, AL radiator mount tabs broke off radiator - wheeled second day with radiator held on with ratchet strap, cracked muffler, blown seal in PS pump (fixed), debeaded one tire, and a small engine fire :)
Jeep-
Busted front driveshaft u-joint u-bolts and u-joint caps. Replaced on trail and continued wheeling.
1 hr later I ripped the pinion out of the third member on the rear 609. Broken ring and pinion gears, third member, bearing caps and bolts.
Found out after I got it back on the trailer that I bend both rear spring fixed mounts at the frame over 2 inches off center. Possibly have two bent rear springs as well.
I forgot to add that the trailer lost one tire up there and one tire on the way back. Of course I only had one spare, but we were able to use the one off the Dodge by flipping it around backwords. It worked...
Also, the Dodge and trailer received custom puke pinstripes courtesy of Brian Coleman while traveling down the highway at 75. I made him wash it when we got to my place, he puked again in front of my mailbox...
Y'all seem to blow a lot of trailer tires. How heavy is that trailer empty?
Had a great time. Broke a 60 stock inner, joint, and 4340 35 spline outer. Luckily Karl's neighbor had a spare outer and I had the rest
Exhausted today
