killing that plan when you did was the smartest thing you've ever done.
ever.
i dont disagree... but it would have been cool if it happened... would have been nice one ton, 37"s and an atlas 4 speed
in newer dodge trucks how do you reset the change oil warning in the overhead... i got the oil changed at walmart instead of at the dodge house and it is still on
I only said the body had to come from a RAV-4 :D
For real though, I don't have a clue. Posting the idea was as far as I've gotten on the "project." (;)) That and looking at one at a stoplight and thinking about how to cut the fenders. They look remarkably like a Prado though. edit: I swear I saw a prado-badged rav-4 in Morocco but none of the pics of prados that I can find looks like a rav-4
Cruise control lever on left side of steering wheel, also functions as blinkers and high beam lever.
I am cruising down the highway (no literally, cruise control is on and working). As soon as I:
Use the blinker
Turn on/off the high beams
Depress any pedal (gas, brake, clutch)
The cruise shuts off
It will also shut off randomly, the only way to get it back on (that I have figured out anyway) is to shift to neutral, hold down the clutch, kill the motor, and start it back up.
Is it possible this thing has some water damage?
Thanks in advance.. going to take it in to the stealership tomorrow
more likely that it's just a volkswagen and be happy that cruise is the only electrical problem. And turning your car off at 80mph is a bad idea. Worse than most of your ideas, even.
meh, I do it all the time whenever the stage 2 airbag deployment goes wacko. Beats having the blinkers on the entire trip, or wasting time pulling over.
As long as you know that any power assist options are dead when the motor is off whats the big deal?
