the powdercoating is done. I'm having them hold onto it till I get the paint done. Hopefully I'll get it painted in the next few days, still a little covering up to do in the garage.

We don't plan on putting that Jeep in the situations to where it could possible roll several times down a hill. I only have a lap belt in mine and I one time that I did more than a flop it help me to the seat pretty good. think of all the trails in Clayton and which ones there is a possiblility of rolling continousily down a hill. On most of them you will just lay over and possibly slide a little. Shoulder harnesses have there places and they will be used then - most people don't use them correctly anyways...
EDIT: being able to move your shoulders and head will help you see better to avoid rollovers - and the prevention of rolling is preffered to rolling
Scott did you use zolatone again?Quote:

I like the way Andy wheels. Lap belts until he knows its about to get hairy, then the harnesses go on.
The frame was powdercoated black, not pink. Thought it would look bad with too many scrapes and future welding on top of it not being something you can easily take off and get re-powdercoated...much easier to touch up black with spray paint without it looking bad.Quote:
