Where is the truck now? I drove by Cook's house on my way to work cause I wanted to see it but neither truck was there.
That sucks... I must have put some voodoo on your truck when I worked on it the other day. Hopefully the t-case mount stayed tightened up.
Question... When you made your high steer arm spacers did you make a kingpin spring spacer to compensate for the additional gap between the spring and cap? Without it the upper end of the knuckle wouldn't be torqued to the load spec and would have more movement than normal.
Its at westons. We drove by there and it was seriously fubared. He even ripped off the steering arm.
Cook will be calling Dedenbaer soon.
Tire got bound up on a down hill yesterday at 47. At first we believed it was just a hub or even a stub, but after cook started to pull forward, as weston put it, it sounded like bones crushing, then a chunk on the inner axle rolls down the hill and the tire fold under the truck. The knuckle split under the highsteer arm and ripped off the inner C, possibly fubaring that.
They spent the next couple of hours getting it down the hill with the help of some jeeps, the exploder fag, and steve, and into the valley where we spent the 10 year deal.
After doing some trailer jocking, Weston and I go his truck, that has a blown head gasket and trailer down to the valley. In order to get the sanchez lined up to put it on the trailer, we had to the ol' burnout push and spin, but with a burnt up clutch in made this process very interesting. Once in position Westons goes to start his truck, and dead battery. This is when I decided I needed a nap, cook will have to fill in the next hour.
When i woke up there was a tractor, Westons truck and trailer, and his GF's little car down in the valley. Once everything was sit getting a 3-wheeled truck on the trailer was the easy part. We pulled out of 47 around 8:45 and bee lined to the new chinese buffet to stuff our faces.
The front axle is in need of some serious work as it sits right now.
the one that used to be a black eyed pea, or mongolian?
Sweet! How's it compare to China King?
The old Black eye peas, small but overall better then CKB
