Something doesn't look right, what are the three large pins in the 12o'clock position for?

I may go ahead and install it tomorrow if I can find the pigtail that I have misplaced. :(
Yah about those three large pins...
Never seen them before :confused2
Once I install it, I will put the tester to them to see if they are hot. If so, a round of electrical tape will be in order me thinks.
Did you buy the heated windshield version?
Edit: Some quick googling turned up this.

That's why I said not to buy the heated windshield version. :flipoff2: Those are the AC connectors for the heated windshield.
Not sure what the hell you got there. Looks like they'd be for the 3 sets of windings. But I see internal avalanche style diodes in there. Any reason they would have needed low voltage AC power? Looks like you need to take it apart and investigate.
Fawk nothing I've ever read about heated windshields said anything about A/C power! What kind of AC voltage are we talking here? Enough to run, say..., a microwave?
I bet it's enough ac power to power up some twinkly lights for the Christmas Parade at Clayton...
Put a voltmeter on them before you tape them up...I bet it puts out as much power as a decent sized inverter. It will certainly be more efficient than an inverter.
If not, I will have heated seats though. :D
