did you ever figure this out?, did you change your fuel filter?

in case you were confused the pilot bushing goes in the crankshaft not the camshaft. idk how much you know about motors
Yeah I knew, that's what threw me off was him saying it went in the cam shaft hole.
I need somebody to school me on cutting and turning TTB beams. I'm thinking it might be beneficial with the lift and 37" tires. I'm going to go read FSB but has anybody here done it before?
where is that self hand smack smiley
Clarke, where are you living now?
This is why I ask questions.
**** that I read a thread on fullsize about cutting and turning TTB beans therefore I am an expert.
Transmission shop said it wasn't the trans, but a big misfire( I didn't agree). Took to another shop where they say 20% less power on drivers side due to bad cats, but trans still problem. Replaced pass. side cats 6 months ago, so went ahead and did the drivers side. Runs maybe better, but still slips going into OD. Take it out of OD and it won't do it. Haven't taken it back to trans shop yet. Frusterated.
The desert ish guys do some sweet stuff with ttb
Yeah, I've been reading a lot of the bronco speed on FSB. There's a lot of BS on there though. The guy on pirate from Canada did some pretty sweet d50 stuff for his KOH buggy but it's real high dollar stuff. From what I've read cutting and turning isn't too hard as long as you measure everything out and know exactly how much you need to move the lower ball joint ear out and plate everything well enough for nothing to start getting stress fractures. Not something I would want to try unless I had a second set of beams to mess around with.
A1 Auto, it is an online company, anyone ever used them? Seem amazingly cheap. Example, Ford 460 passenger side exhaust manifold, O'reilly has it here for 234.99

A1 Auto, has the same part, different name brand for $57.95 with free shipping?

Thoughts?
460?
Now back on track, anyone ever used 1A Auto?
What are the differences in 5.0 blocks in the 80's and 90's between cars and trucks? I'm going to pick up an engine to rebuild soon, just want to make sure everything will work with the speed density crap on the truck right now. Thought about an engine swap and I think I just want to go with rebuilt stock for now. My reason for a rebuild is because I'm getting some loud lifter tap that goes in and out, and it's over 200k, I just want to make sure I have something I can rely on.
the holes drilled and tapped in the lifter valley for the spider are the only block difference.
My dad picked up a 2011 F-150 with the 5.0 last night, he is wanting to put front and rear bumpers on it. Any suggestions?
I've always liked ranch hand, my grandpa has them on his super duty
frontier, they are a lighter than a ranch hand
No ECO BOOST?!?! Did he not buy into the hype!??! :D
By the way the wife has the 5.0 in her mustang, it is a beast of a motor. :gigem:
This ain't a bad look:

FabFours has a Black Steel line that is more budget friendly (less labor intensive to build).

Not sure if they have them for 1/2 tons though.
I like the Fabfours rear replacement but I know my dad won't be wanting a winch on the front.
Still leaning towards ranch hand, but who has the best prices on bumpers?
My brother probably has the best prices on Frontier or Ranch Hand. They're delivered a couple times a week to the shop in Karnes City. I go from there to Bayou Vista fairly often.
Got rid of that about a year ago. Stopped posting up my car changes around these parts to avoid any dumbass financial talk.
Her toys:
2011 5.0 mustang gt
Toyota buggy
My toys:
Firetruck
Tacoma
Family wagon and DD for both of us is a 2010 Toyota 4runner. It replaced the Lexus and have had it for a year in march. Just rolled over 20k miles and has been a great vehicle.
And yes I am sure the entire above line up will change within the next year. :flipoff2:
does he have any scratch and dents (jew priced) front replacements for 94-02 dodge
thanks anyway
I hear spicer is the best, but is there someone who makes good quality driveline parts without the price tag? I can find a Precision yoke for $35, but the same spicer yoke runs for $80. I haven't looked into Rockford or Neapco, but what are some opinions on the matter? I know some people live and die by Spicer parts, but what's the big deal?
Oh and I want pics of the mustang, faggie :gigem:
I swear...
Don't really have any good pics because it is the wife's ride but I have a few cell phone shots.

So far her mods are the wheels, Borla Mufflers and a new shift knob to match the color scheme. She wants me to remove the side stripes and get some new stripes for it but I have been putting it off.
