Not sure what our discount is, if that's what y'all are looking for, but I can check on it.
Thanks, but she wants something a bit different. She wants to mimic the new Boss 302 stripes but replace the Boss stuff with 5.0. Something like this scheme:

For yokes, I don't think one is better than the other unless you get into the high dollar alloy/racing stuff. Spicer is definitely better than parts store on joints, except maybe the neapco joints.
Any recomendations for places in Dallas to buy motors specifically a 6.0 Vortec
thanks, I may have to head down there and check them out

Don't know anything about this guy, but another place to look.
Thinking about swapping my dad's 20 inch chrome wheels on to my mom's 2wd f-150 and getting some new wheels for the 2011. My dad is wanting some 17's for cheaper tires and more side wall but 99% of the wheels out there have a 2200-2500 load rating. what's the deal with that? Any suggestions?
JB- You interested in the 20's?
4dr + 6.5' is rare. It is what I was looking for for awhile. Looks good.
that's the only one you can get a 6.2L in too.
These trucks (10's and 11's) look a lot better than they did in 2006, I think Ford finally threw away their paint rollers and started spraying the trucks.
I told him to hold out for a 6.2 but he is happy with the 5.0. Only put one tank threw it so far and got right at 17mpg.
Ford has a lot of new motors out at the moment, the 6.2 gas, ecoboost gas, 6.7 diesel and the 5.0 gas. I have seen the torture test on the ecoboost, is there any good torture test info on the others? Hope they all turn out well.
looks like the 6.2L came in

is it still a personal attack if it is true
Back spacing is measured from the outside of the wheel to the mounting surface? What is off-set?
Looks like method racing makes a good 17inch wheel with a 3400 pound rating but they have a 4.25 inch back spacing. The wheels are real popular with the raptor crowd but that much back spacing might be too much for the regular fenders.
That is correct. From the WMS of the rim.
My dodge has a Squeak that is steadily becoming worse, I thought it was a rear u-joint but it only squeaks when the truck is rolling in reverse. If you put it in neutral and continue to roll backwards the squeak stops. Sounds like the source is transmission or T-case. Also the rear slip yoke appear to have a slight leak.
Whats the good transmission shop around here?
edit- I'm going to drop the shaft to check u-joints and probably go back with a new rear seal too.
edit 2- looks like the dodge forums suggest u-joint, Does anyone in CS have a press?
If it's a manual, J&P on 21E
My 20 ton press is still at The Dexter Hizzy.
He has an auto
anybody know how long the a chevy 203 to ford 205 doubler is w/ 1350 flanges?
Oliver Brothers Transmission was good to me when I had my Honda. Never really heard much else about them.
Can I reuse the bolts from my flex plate when I put the new flywheel on?
I believe I did. Just make sure to red locktight them.
