so let's see the new "artwork"
Here is a picture of the artwork, courtesy of J.J's customs, and some parts some people wanted
you're gonna get shot with that sitting in front of your house.
Save the roof for me to paint
Mail it to the NAACP and ask if they will sponsor your Krawler?
I can't wait to cruise that at the Hot Summer Nights Cruise.
This weekend I decided I need to remind myself how much I suck at welding and how hard it is to bend metal. I figured I would fix a couple of holes in the body. I started with the hole by the passenger rear tire. I laid out my plan with some paper, then checked to make sure what I was doing would not rub the when the tires were all the way up. I bought some 16 gauge steel and went to bending. It is really freakin' hard to bend that stuff when you are using your flat bed as a brake. After one failed attempt I managed to make a panel the kind of fit. Then went to welding and beating it into place with a hammer. It truly sucks cause you can only weld about an inch before you have to heat and beat again. Of course the fact that I suck at welding and this is really thin and I was using a stick welder did not help that much either. Anywho, the wheel should not rub, and the rear seat still fits.
