that would be his style, he likes it high in the air
me likey shiney thing
why aren't youputting disc brakes on the rear axle, its prety cheap and mud doesn't get stick in it like the drums would
Didn't want to fool with converting to disk brakes plus I kind of like having a boat anchor out back to keep weight distribution somewhat even.
I pulled a leaf from both front springs to help reduce their stiffness. They seem to flex better just from messing with them but I haven't ruled out going with a set of waggy's yet. Just playing with ideas right now.
blah... good thing they banned rivers. I had to take the drums off every time I went to llano or the san jacinto rivers to get pebbles out. On the other hand my rims were shiny!Quote:

Like this? :D I know I know, it's weak cuz it was against a 6.2...

That's a sweet picture though.
Check out the rear springs wrapping in the picture above. I pulled a leaf from each of the front springs to help it sit a little lower and flex better. Might move the extra leaf's to the rear but I've been working on an anti-wrap bar in coordination with the tranny crossmember. I'm having to work it in around the t-case mount, rear warn atv winch crossmember, exhaust, and driveshaft.
I was going to say somethin smart ass about the 6.2 when you posted that the other day, but I figured I would be nice to pigpen that day....
i know you have more done then that stop holding out
Yes but progress has been slower than I would like working alone. Maneuvering some of the heavier stuff into place is a pita by myself. The stak is one such item, picking it up and lifting it into place almost killed me. The frame is still a little too narrow so the case is clocked down a little more than I would like but I'm working on a skid plate in coordination with the crossmembers.
