I agree - I keep thinking how all the body is going to end up totally smashed up top to bottom and front to back like you seem to see blazers all the time. All I gotta say is if you are gonna waste the body go all out. if you are gonna be a bear, be a grizzly.

found a parts truck
well, aussie lockers for 44s are backordered till who knows when. what other lunchbox lockers are of the same quality and can be had for around 250.
i have aquired all the parts for my trans rebuild/swap so i need to get started on that here pretty soon. i will definitly need a transmisson jack or something to lift the heavy bastards up into the truck.

If your tranny hump is removable you can use my engine hoist.
ive installed lock-right and ez-lockers. they are identical except for the springs. the lock-right has double springs and the detroit single. thats the only reason i say lock-right. ah, yeah and my dads ez-locker never worked right, i sent it back. my lock right has worked flawlessly and my neighbors works well.Quote:

you ought to twin-stick the 205 while it is out... it is pretty easy
how much does it cost?
A bit to nothing depending on how you do it. I'm gonna assume your jooness will prevent you from buying premade shifters, so all you's gotta do is take the case apart, grind on one rail, and then fabricate the shifters.
but grind to much and oh **** you can be in hi and low at the same time+no bueno, it is still kinda a pain in the ass to do but it fairly easy.
I dont know about grinding it too much but if you are really lazy and dont feel like grinding the rail, you can just take a little detent stick inside the case out. This will allow you to shift each rail seperately but you will be able to put the front and rear in different ranges (high & low or low& high) which is bad juju. Thats why most people just grind it.

oe maybe he is saying ingelhoff is a bit manly, in a Jerry sort of way. :flipoff2:
no I liked Kate's truck, and Kate too, and at the risk of this coming out wrong she could probably hold her own against half the doods in this club in arm wrestling, spitting, and maybe even pissing for distance. Especially after her stint at the alligator farm

I cant tell from the pic which those are
it is a 78 and it has a skyjacker 6" lift with 37s on it... ask me how i know
Those are round.
So what's the difference in grinding and removing the detent. From Sharpes comment they sound like the same damn thing.
you can grind it to just go into the places where the gear ratios match... grinding too much or taking out the limiting bars is a no no
if you do it refer to my old atlas ii thread that turned to doubler thread and has the 205 rebuild in it... there is a chart in there that shows you exactly what to take off

most d300 twin sticks are without detent. meaning you just have to not be a moron. personally, i just forgot to take the detent out of mine so i cant actually do front digs but i dont really wish i had.Quote:
