I figured that would be a deal breaker, but thought I would throw it up anyways. I will keep my eyes peeled for a trail ready rig.

that 90 is cool, but a bit too much body.
Here is what I am lookign for:
80's 4runner (will take x-cab in a pinch)
SAS
gears
lockers
supper dupper-fields
22Re
manual
dual cases
lift
35's or larger
$5k range
I am not in to big of a hurry, I probably won't any thing till April unless it is a crack smoking deal. One of the big reasons is that I am noving out of my shop at the end of March and I need to finish some other projects first. After that I may not have the space to fab anything so I am going to leave my modding to bolt on items.

This one been posted yet?
that is spot on, but that is waaaay out there. Guess I will keep my eye on it.
He dropped the price from $5500 to $3500 in December and it's been for sale since May. It might be worth the drive to pick it up if he would accept a little less... You could even stop in Las Cruces on the way home to try things out. :D
Heck with Cruces, stop in Vegas on the way there and double the money you brought for buying the truck, then it'll basically be free!-pimp-

85 Toy with 7MGE (supra turbo?) Motor - $5500 obo
kinda pricey for a possible hack job, but could be cool
Yeah it's a turbo supra motor, I think it's a somewhat common swap in those trucks. A friend of mine in Corpus bought one from an importer in California and swapped it into his 4Runner. Cool idea, but there are a whole lot of ways to hack it up and make things work... The motor he got was straight from Japan so it was set up for a RHD vehicle.
