sell the patrol, buy a stock YJ, a bag of parts and some non-pink rattle cans... have fun honey! love ya!
Yeah, I bet Scott really misses working on it on the side of the trail.
Hey I worked on that Jeep just as much as he did...he just did trail fixes when he thought I was too slow. I cant' help I have midget muscles.
Anyways, his broke down far more than mine ever did.
I thought I'd have to visit The State Fair of Texas (runs 11/26-10/19, www.bigtex.com) to see a show this good! :flipoff2:;)
your mishap reminded me that i needed to order these pins. i gave the internet a good look this morning and i cant find any push button ball locks in the right size. i ended up ordering spring loaded ball locks from mcmaster, p/n 94975A659. 7/16" dia with a 3.5" grip length. these are much cheaper anyhow.
it wont measure that after you get the welds ground out.
i wanted it to look like it was meant to fit so i ground them down to 3.5". the 4" would be easier i guess.
why not drill them out?
because its an uneven surface. didnt want to try to get a drill to run straight. you can do that if you want. grind it flat at least.
hey scott, do you happen to have anymore pics of your fuel cell, also is this the one you went with? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...243+4294903827
Because i was thinking of just placing it in the bed for the time being, but eventually do what you did. Thanks
It's 9" tall and 12" wide - and not powdercoated.
I had to move it all the way back because the axle is moved back
and you don't have any problems having your in-line pump on the frame rail having to pull all that distance and lower than the tank?
