closer to christmas everything will go on sale.
Well I am going to have to step up the pace on this rig. I need to get it driveable in 6 months due to some work bs I have to deal with.
So the new plan is as follows
get the floor ready for my herculinear
put the old doors on and weld them a little
get the engine and tranny running in good shape(have the motor running)
service the brakes.
and primer the truck with expoxy primer and finish the body work.
I have been working on the floor. Its is a pain trying to get the old linear up. I will post some pics when I get home from work today. I also ordered me a New Millermatic 175 welding machine. I need to fix some places in the floor
Mine had some old bedliner in it also, just used a torch to heat it up then scraped right off with a paint scraper.
That would be great is somone did not have my torch KARL!Quote:

have you tried putting ice or dry ice on it to make it brittle, then chipping it away?
Brake fluid is the shiznat. Mine leaks down the inside of the firewall and all the liner is just coming right up. Get a big economy bottle and brush it on :gigem:
buy a small handheld propane torch or see if someone you know has a pear burner, both of these two suggestions are extremes at opposite ends of the spectrum but would prolly work.
I think brake fluid eats just about anything it comes in contact with. I am about 50% done and I am using a grinder with a wire wheel. I think I will just use it. I have some paint stripper that works ok but that stuff just makes a nasty mess.Quote:

The next major steps
putting the windshield on.
doors
gas tank for FI (fuel cell or I might try to find a bigger tank not sure whats available for these EBs) I want 20 or so gallons
putting on the FI
Installing the dash
lights
brakes
so you don't want the engine from the F350?
www.wildhorses4x4.com and www.bcbroncos.com has 24 gallon tanks, I'm running one right now and its awesome.Quote:

So do you just run that one tank? Or do you still have two tanks?
I just run the one tank. But yea they shouldnt be too hard to fab up yourself.Quote:
