I was waiting to see if that f350 would pan out.
A 44 is not really much any stronger than the TJ d30. Back in the day we ran very hard trails with TJs on 35s and had little front axle breakage. I imagine this thing would work the same. Just put an explorer 8.8 in it, bonus is that it just bolts in. Costs about $60 for the stupid driveshaft flange adapter thing. Axles still available for $100 and under. If you're lucky the d30 came from a 4 cylinder and has 4.10 gears.
Can I suggest "rear TTB"
just go move the nine inch thats in front of the garage underneath that thing... should be a "bolt in" swap
Leaf spring perches are too wide
so why cant you magically attach spooby's spring perches onto your axle?
5x5.5 lug pattern won't match
