In the fall we usually just camp at the top of the hill near the RV parking so we don't have to beat the **** out of our trailers to get back to a camping area. It's what we did last time. Up on the hill across from Houston Creek. Works pretty good as long as it's not windy.
Why not just drop the Trailer by the Air Station and then drive your rig with your camping gear to the campsite? It is so much nicer to camp in the trees, especially east texas wind up on top of the mountain. Not to mention a bit warmer with a shelter for Rain, a good fore ring and a grill...
Doesn't matter to me because I will be driving my rig out anyways :flipoff2:
the campsite Fred is talking about drinks just fine.:gigem:
Did you check their forum?

That's the only real place they keep updated...
Cool, should we make a new thread....?
go for it.
I like the Oct 4th date better, less crowded.
Does 10/4 Work for everyone else? I would almost rather do it in November so it is a bit cooler, but Nov. 15 may be a little late.
well so far, everyone encompasses you me and fred, i was waiting for jimmy to post up.
I might make an appearance
Depending on the sale of the 4runner, I may be down for some wheeling.
Because I like my trailer to still be there when I'm ready to go home.
Don't act like your cool because you drive yours there. I could drive mine there midget in the crankcase pissed as hell and all. Let's see how well your FJC runs when its 34 years old and if it still has the original engine when that time comes. :flipoff2::D
EDIT: I see in the other post you're talking about your 4runner....same comment above applies to it. :) :p
Barring a Wylie Football game that Friday, and even if there is one, I'd be down. That's the weekend after my 30th Birthday, so I guess we could call it the Trail Oktoberfest-Death to Jimmy's Youth Run. Someone bring a stripper! I'll see if I can get the death cycle running again as well, she was a little sick after redneckfest. Speaking of Redneckfest I don't see that happening this year, pretty busy summer and I'd like to make it out to Colorado before it's over.
might be a good inaugural run if i get the Taco done :gigem:
I think this post disqualifies you from making it to 34 year service life mark :flipoff2::

Chances are I can get an axle shaft changed by then. Sounds like fun!
