You don't know too many Mexicans huh? I'll try and count the King Ranches on my jobsite tomorrow.
There is a nice truck in there somewhere. You know what's rice and what's not.....hopefully.

2wd, tonneau cover and loaded with gay blingy bits. You bring fail to this thread.
I'm sorry my greatest single purchase I've ever made couldn't hold up to TAMOR web-wheeling standards. I'll enjoy driving it everyday, but keep hate'in.
*Ed, Thanks for your advice on the buy and your non-partisan opinion, I appreciate it*
Well then I guess I like them riced out. There are certainly some things added to this truck that I would not have paid for piecemeal but excluding the fuel filler and handles (which I have already acknowledged will be changed out) I dig everything else on the truck. And ultimately isn't that the point of what the remainder of us that still pick up a wrench do as a hobby is modify our vehicles to our liking? So if you think it's a ricer, then, okay; but I'll keep smiling all the way down the road with the jeep in tow.
you got all of the options except the good mirrors
Gas strut tailgate ...Really?
Oh factory headlights are pretty damn bright on these trucks they definetely piss people off.
Oh and this mexican already has his truck payed for..:flipoff2:
So you bought a diesel to tow a jeep that you can and have pulled with a tacoma. Hmmm
Just because you can tow a jeep with a Tacoma doesn't mean it's not a lot ****ing nicer towing it with a Dmax.
**** it i think everybody should drive a diesel, they are the more efficient and superior engine (thanks JB) . :flipoff2:

Nice truck Ryan. I wouldn't let $20 handles stop me from a good deal. Every parts store will have those handles in black in the help! Aisle for like $20 each.
I was talking 06/07, sorry, should have specified better. :)
Blanken****, you need a set of 100 spoke knockoffs.

Do you smoke?

Just think Travis, those are the type guys you get stereotyped with.
Did a little got 17.8 mpg in my last tank after airing my tires up to the proper psi. I'm stoked.
I need to change my fuel filter soon on my 06 duramax. What filters are good? Do I have to order something from Amsoil or a performance company or does Napa house brand suffice? Thanks.
I perfer Wix filters but I think Napa house brand is a wix filter
Napa has a "high efficiency'. Whatever the hell that means.

And their standard one for $9 less.

Neither one talks about how small it will filter down to.
Be cool and do this:

Then you can use CAT diesel filters, which are cheap AND a 2-micron filter.
I ended up ordering through. . . http://www.fleetfilter.com/
It was 30% cheaper then running up to Napa, even with shipping, and their site says that they are 4 micron filters.
Napa GOLD filters are made by Wix and use the same part numbers minus the first digit. I don't know who makes their house brand.
speak of the Devil... Looking like I just lost an injector. Where or who is the best diesel repair shop in town? and can they test injectors?
Really?
Robs Diesel, Brazos valley welding.
that blows
The reason I'm looking for a good shop is so they can test the injectors and not just a kill test. Hopefully I only have to replace one.
The symptoms: A new rattle or knock that sounds exactly like injector rattle, and diesel smell in the oil.
No hard starts or smoke on starts, no higher running temps or higher EGT's, and no rough idle so hopefully I've caught this early
Well Cardoc tested the injector and all where good, as well as no miss-fires ever cataloged. Ideas?
i assume they were not in the truck when checked?
Are you running any boxes, fuel or timing?
Running a smarty jr. with a mild increase in fuel and timing and they were tested in the truck.
I think he meant bcs automotive and welding. The only thing I've seen them work on is dodge diesels. If you can't figure it out maybe they can help.
