We have an operative in there, don't worry. He has been instructed to "make nice" with the big fat black girl in accounting. The check should be your way shortly.

they aren't behind, it is just the nature of construction, takes 45 ~ 60 days to get paid from the time a monthly draw is submitted. Basically I have to front the money and materials, do the work, and then submit a bill. That goes to the owner who reviews all of them to make sure the work is done, then sends it to the bank, which does the same thing. The Bank cuts the owner a check, he waits 5 days and pays the GC, they wait 5 days and pay me. Good fun.
I should be seeing a check around May for phase one, but then again there is phase two of the project ...
I was trying to make it something else. Makes a lot more sense now.
I know you said you can't afford one right now, but there's an f004 ftoy on pirate for sale for $8K.
the only slot my employees have to swipe that is not a place I would want to put any card of mine ;)
Most things I have terms with my vendors on, bit there are quite a few things that just need old fashioned cash. Even if I did charge it, the bill would come due before I would get paid. Then there are the other expenses that aren't even project related. My biz burns 2500 a month just to keep the lights on so we have the opportunity to eve due work.
So moral of the story, cash is king, the more I have in the bank the less stress I have from job to job. So when GC's (four letter name starting with H) like the one I had for the Brazos County Sheriff's office take 5 months to pay, I am not out on the street. Long run it is good, just have to weather the low points.
This one dropped to $2k.

good price, but still no EFI or ex-cab ... those are must haves.
Why is EFI a must again? I don't feel like reading through the 7 pages to find it...
fueling issues
Yea, that carb fuel can be a ***** to find! I found this place in Austin that stocks Toyota blinker fluid, muffler bearings and carb fuel! :flipoff2:
Carb issues can be solved by: 1) reading "How to Get It with a Toyota Carb" on Pirate or 2) a call to Cary at GotPropane.com.
Gasoline is da debil!!!!
I'm sure it can be getto fabed, but I have out grown that. I'll want EFI and that is all that matters.
I've had carbs, i'll pass. My time is worth more than my money so I would rather by what I want than try and piece it together. For that matter, this isn't my final goal, just a get me by till I build the uber Scout.
You probably wouldn't have issues with that carb. And on a truck that old, who cares about an exo cage. Either of the recent posts would work.
sadly I am still fat and need an x-cab ;)
crap, forgot about that...
Little people just don't understand the plight of the gravitaionally challenged. ;)
