Massive vacuum leak. Apparently ford used a different base on some of the 2bbls that won't fit on a normal 2bbl adapter.

Sooooo Lubelocker is the best thing since sliced bread..
Didn't know you needed that on a Barbie jeep
Yuppie......is rtv not good enough for you?
What's the odds this strap is worth a ****? $22 shipped 30'x4" with looped ends

I ordered one
So I need a ram for hydro assist.
I know the norm is 8" stroke, but how do you match the speed of the ram with the speed of the steering box? If the ram is slower than the steering box will you be able to pull the ram out or push the ram in with the box as long as its moving in the same direction?
Looking at this

I like the ends on this because I won't have to buy heims. I'll just weld a piece of 1/2" plate with a hole on it onto the axle and the tie rod
Thats the Ram pops has on the big green gay 40. Works pretty good actually. After that I have never set up a Hydro system so no clue... good luck! :D
Just spend the extra $20 and get the psc RAM with hiems and tabs
I too suggest the psc ram. Think mine is 1.75
TumTum if you aren't in too big of a hurry, I have a TSC type ram I'll sell you cheaper than new. I bought it used but ended up going with a PSC.
I'm buying Scotts psc ram
Has anyone heard of re-balancing, or turning alumnium wheels? I have been asked about it a couple of time, and its new to me. The spicific wheels in question are factory 20s on a King Ranch Expedition.
What type of fluid do I run with hydro assist?
Some people say tranny fluid, but then some say it breaks down the seals.
Detergent or non detergent?
Anti wear or not?
Weight? Multiweight or single weight?
PSC says on their website NOT TO USE ATF and to use PS fluid
I use ps fluid you can buy it by the gallon at several parts stores
Straight PS fluid
I'll use pretty much anything that is light oil.
'03 Ford Expedition w/ 5.4L - the cats are clogged, any way to fool the sensor and cut the cats out the equation? Got a $600 quote to replace all 4, and thats not happening.... ;-)
clarences muffler in Bryan.
Yeah, 4 cats not going to be cheap. But what you want to do sounds a little bit sketchy:)
with modern cars really can't get away without the cats. to much computer crap etc involved with sensors and readings, egr, evap systems etc
I replaced the 2 that came on the f150 with one replacement. But it only has one o2 sensor.
Ed, you can try the spark plug non-fouler trick. You only need to fool the o2's afte rthe cats. Buy a couple spark plug non-foulers from the help! section at oreilly that match your o2 sensor threads. Drill out the non-fouler so the sensor will thread into it. Thread the non-fouler into the exhaust pipe, thread the o2's into the non-fouler.
I've read about many people having luck with this. I guess it gets the o2 sensor out of the stream just enough that it won't read the full amount of exhaust and will think the cats are working properly.
Cool beans. I'll try that. I found a place that sells 'mini cats' that do about the same thing. ***

I would go 2000, and am very interested if you are trying to help out a friend get it sold
The seller is one of my mom's clients. She saw the hood with the chevy emblem in his garage and asked if the hood was for sale. He went on about how he has the entire truck. He really isn't looking to get rid of it but it is just sitting in storage. He is asking more than $2K which is too bad b/c I would love to have it.
Send me a pm with what it would take for him to letit go
My fiances 03 Ford f150 5spd shudders on take off. It's fine while in motion though. We had a new clutch put in a few months ago and I think the linkage needs to be adjusted. Anyone have experience with this?
if it shudders with a fairly new clutch, either the flywheel wasnt surfaced right or it has a rear seal leaking on it and it's oil soaked now
Great. At least its still under warranty. I'll take it in and have them look at it. Thanks.
I haven't wired up subs in quite a while, is this correct?
