Little bit of an update.
First is the revised rear coilover mounts. Ryan decided the old ones didn't look right.

Next up is a little bit of sheetmetal work. I think I'm going to start calling this thing the Cheroomanche instead of the C-Bone.

and finally, some gratuitous flex shots. Seemed like the thing to do at the time.

Nice work indeed. First time I have seen somebody use a lift for their flex pics. :D
bad ass. I was just wondering to myself when he would start shhet metal work.
Sick!
baddood
MAD FLEX!!!
you have any pics w/ the axle clearing the front of the motor?
its all pretty close but the pulley goes behind the truss that i built with the back side even with the axle tube centerline. the pulley comes within about an 1.5" of the tube
The bracing on your front axle makes it look like a rockwell. Looks sweet. Angry
:D
damn nice! any idea on what its going to weigh?
more than a normal crawler type buggy, I would like to be under 4,500lbs but it really depends on how I finish it out.
that is crazy badazz but I am still stuck on the phantom rear streer. Was this as much as expected or is it just the angle of the picture. What is the % rear steer? I just know that the positive rear steer as shown sucks while wheeling uphill it tends to drive the rear tires the wrong direction and make the situatiuons worse. I prefer a negative rear steer that pushes the rig into a correction while climbing. Just a preference - neutral rear steer is fine also.
Don't get me wrong - it really doesn't matter that much, this whole thing / concept is super bad asz but that noticable rear steer is just bothering me...
Still sweet stuff:gigem::gigem:
