Thanks for all the positive comments :gigem: this was the cheapest option after smashing that bird on the highway.
Black is always good...

I think you you have to get the card with the maps on them, at least that's what you do for different lakes.
i dont think that one will have maps, the elite-5 is the one with the gps
Tommy, you're right but I was thinking that I could add an external antenna but think I might just throw it on a yak
Oh gosh here we go again....
Children........calm down
Both of you go to your room

What are you going to put on it?
Dirt bike
Ha!
Looks solid, that is how my trailer is built (with the deck and then the C-Channel V under it) and I think it makes for a very solid platform vs. the utility trailer square. Only thing I do not like from the pic is there is no dove tail.
I wanted the flat deck
That's a deep hole to fall into.
I have way too much other stuff I would like to do
So I drove through a little water puddle and sucked up a little water. Also my the bracket that directs wires going to the electric fan clutch got into the fan, taking out one blade and cutting the wires. Now I'm going to have to replace the wires, relocate the batteries and move the airbox closer to the fire wall. Anybody have any input about electric fans on a diesel? I'm thinking about using these : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fl...model/ram-2500

How bad did you hurt the motor?
I don't think electric fans could move enough air to cool a diesel if you actually towed with it. For you they will probably work fine.
Don't think I hurt the motor, but It's the second time its drank some water so I really need to fix the problem. I'm more worried about improving low-speed off-roading than towing, I'll probably never tow over 10k.
It wasn't a little water, Travis got his truck drunk on creek water. I think the motor is fine, it's just that the S&B intake has the cold air tube that sticks too far down.
Electric fans will probably work, they'll just be a pain. If possible, I would see if any oem parts can be made to work, that way if you're going to king of the trimmers with your new club cadet rig and your fan craps out on you, then you can go to the next parts store and get a new fan instead of trying to deal with summit and getting your truck home because you can't tow that much with no fan.
It just sputtered a bit. Do you think flex-a-lite will have longevity issues? That's why I was thinking dual electric fans instead of a big single, redundancy. I really don't mind going to electric fans to get away from the electric fan clutch....
Just fix the stock stuff. It never turns out well when you start ****ing with the factory cooling system. Just zip tie the wires away from the fan.
oh ****. On second thought, cool it with liquid nitrogen....if you can't find that, just hire a mexican to stay under the hood and spray water on the radiator.
