All the calipers GM used on their D60's from 77 to 91 are exactly the same. They are even the same as the ones that came on 2wd 1 tons of the same vintage. Do your front hoses have a big square block on the caliper end that is interfering with the two little nubbies that stick up next to the banjo bolt hole? Thats the only possible explanation for the trouble you are having that I can wrap my mind around.
brake pad PN = mkd52.....anyone parts store should be able to cross that
sharpe.. I have round hose ends with little square nubs off of the side of it. The ones off of the green 60 will work I believe. The dimensions of the ones they were giving me were about 1/4" smaller width wise wich was causing the interference with the rotor.

I am debating on the pane issue again, as the throttle body that I picked up wont work on my intake (the two big butterflys hit the edge of the intake). I may go with a new set, or just wheel it like it is for now, but the fuel tank that is on it needs major repair before too long. I figure it is a wash on the work that will be needed either way.
do you have a squarebore manifold and a spreadbore throttle body?
Yes Its an Edelbrock Torker intake with i beleve an Edelbrock 650 or 750 carb
yeah, thats a squarebore single plane manifold. not the best for offroad, more of a high end horsepower manifold. get a dual plane spreadbore manifold. if you wanna stay with an aluminum edelbrock, get a "Performer".

Well, we got the truck delivered to Creighton's today. We started to check the engine for the intake transplant and ran into a little problem. When Ed, yes YOU, let the transfercase hang down, it smashed the distributor into the firewall and crushed the cap and rotor. After about an hour of grinding and cutting of the fire wall, I got the distributor ready to take out tommorow. Creighton's place looks normal with the neighbors with the white trash look.
Well, yesterday we got the pane, intake, distributor installed. Today we are going to tackle the flexalite fan and some other misc stuff.
rowdy is building this thing? i think we may have a new trail clogger folks!

I discovered that the Ignition coil was bad. Its ALIVE!!!
I got Kyle from copperhead fab to work up a drawing of some rockrings. I think I am going to go ahead and get a set. Anybody else want in on it, I don't know if the price would drop on a group buy or not. They are 25 a piece I believe.
I assume the extra hole is for the valve stem? Are the aTm's engraved, cut out or what? If they are $25 each I am deffinately interested in 4.
They will be cut out on his plasma table that he just got. I believe it is for the valve stem. I will have to double check on the price, this prolly doesnt include shipping either though

Me and Ed were discussing them last night and I noticed the extra hole that is presumably for the valve stem would deffinately throw the entire wheel way off ballance. Once he fixes that though, I'm probably gonna get a set for my future H1's.
will they fit a 17x9 steel wheel?
I am pretty sure that he can do other rim sizes, let me double check.
