I wish I could. It will give me the weekend to work on my truck anyway. Maybe I'll have it ready for the TTR run at Gilmer in January.Quote:

VW **** for starters. Secondly, Rowdy strikes me as the trike type. Not quite badass enough for a real bike but still wants to pick up fat tatted up biker chicks.

Also, check this thread if you're attending Clayton.

Yeah, pretty much. I put Jimmy's scout back together for him, so he gave me his vacation day. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.Quote:

I think I may be skipping Clayton this year. It seems I've got a bought of Bronchitis.
boo.....take a swig of nyquil and be a man! :D
****... I only caught the last part on the weather channel, but it said there are wide spread power outages in oklahoma due to ice. Some of the estimates were up to 2 weeks to restore power. Clayton's pretty far south, but I doubt it would be serviced very quickly.
Not that we really need power!
hell substitute nyquil for alcohol!Quote:

what are you talking about seth?
I need to nail down where I will be sleeping and who I am riding with (there and back, as well as on the trail)
Campfires was referring to the power outages, poor attempt at humor.
Now that I look, I guess my post was in the rooms thread, not here.
No, I caught the joke. Didn't know what the rest was. Yeah, you can ride with me if you want, but there's the whole getting to and from Dallas part. As far as sleeping goes, you can have floor space in our room if nobody else has room.
As of right now, I am riding with the extra e bunch (clarke/sharpe/cook) from CS to there. Unless I hear anything different, I'll take you up on the floor space. I'm tryin to steer clear of the "couple rooms" and it sounds like the AA is going to be where I stay sober to chaperone all you fools.
how many people are riding with sharpe???
You me and Morgan (his gf) I think.
Who else thinks that it kicks ass that I get to poorly influence crain's decisions all the way to clayton!?
Damnit I wish I was going.
huh :confused:Quote:

After spending the weekend putting Jimmy's truck back together and double checking both trailers and repacking the wheel bearings on both , it looks like we are pretty much ready to go to Clayton. I still need to give Lurch the once over and I may have to make a spring plate that is looking somewhat questionable, but other than that, I think it's good. I found out that my transfercase had an argument with my transmission and was trying to get away from it. There was about a 1/4" gap between the two due to some loose bolts. Glad I saw that. Otherwise, I gave the midget in the motor some more Lucas (he really likes the stuff) and topped off the rest of the fluids. Oh, and we also installed the integral part of the Belle for the Clayton run. I'm ready for it to be thursday. :gigem:
It is with great regret I must inform you that Father Brune is sitting this year out. He's instead going to the six man football championships in San Angelo with some other old farts. I guess I will have to just drink twice as much to make up for his absence. The newbies don't know what the old man adds to the festivities, but you old timers know he will be missed. Oh well, always next year. :gigem:
Damn. Now who are we gonna get to do a wicked burnout leaving the bar while leaving you behind?
dammit, i guess i'll just save this single barrel for next year :gigem:Quote:
