D30/AMC 20 4.10 Gears
Like the title says, looking for 4.10 gears for a D30/AMC 20. Also gonna need the carriers for the lower gears as I'm currently rocking some very gutless 2.73s.
Also open to complete narrow track CJ axles with the same gearing. Hell, even 3.73s would be better.

Saw that, it's 2 months old so I emailed him seeing if he still had them, and if he knew the ratio. SOA and drum brakes all around. Could make it work for the price though if the gear ratio is right.
-
I texted him when I saw the ad and he just texted me back and said he still has them. He doesn't know the gear ratio though. Might want to call him and see if he'll spin them and count the rotations for you.
-
Cool thanks. I may call him and see if he can figure it out.
-
why not go widetrack. find a set of disc brake axles from a 4 cyl 81-86 and they will be 4.10. if the axles your looking at are drum brake then most likely 3.54 if stock and post 72. i have a set of wide track axles under one of mine i'm parting. prob wrong gearing but i will check this week and see what the ratio is. front axle needs to be rebuilt for sure

Laziness mostly, and usually you can find NT axles cheaper as people are swapping them for WT. But if I found a good deal on Widetrack axles I'd go for it.
-
Sounds like this may be one of the goofy truetrack amc-20s but you could probably gut it and still come out alright.

Offset rear = QTrac axle. But I'll look into it, because I could always just strip the gears out and have them installed in mine.
I actually have a Truetrac and 2.73s, because I'm lucky like that.
-
That's what I meant, Quadratrac. I can't remember all the goofy old jeep stuff.
-
I might have a set for the d30. The gears are out of a cherokee I believe.
-
As long as it isn't a hpd30 they will work for him
-
It's a low pinion. And there is a difference between tj and cherokee ring and pinions also. That's why I have this extra set. Cause the cherokee set didn't work in my tj housing.
-
Cherokee gears should be high pinion, TJ are low pinion.
-
Not all Cherokees are high pinion. Have have a 2001 cherokee d30 and it's low pinion. The 4.10s I have are from a low pinion.
