I am going to try and make this. If I go, I would prefer to camp.
Anyone interested in camping?
**** ya we camp. Wasnt even aware there are other options.
I am going to the Baylor game in Waco that Saturday but will make whatever I can. Does anyone wanna wheel some Sunday? If not I'm kinda ****ed...
i'll go
If you camp I would be more inclined to wheel, because I will probably want to leave early afternoon-ish.
If the bronco is streetable, I'm in.
If it's not, I need a tow, then I'm in :gigem:
tentatively in, and can tow someone if needed, sharpe?
hotpockets ride will be packed snuggly on my trailer keeping my jeep company on the way..... If you havnt guessed im in, and tuggin hotpocket.
blah blah blah
I need a tow
birthday run for me

msII's don't have to go
I would be down for this.

This link will take you straight to it.
if hot pocket decides not to take his bronco I will haul on colmans trailer unless someone else needs a pull.... We should know later this week if hot pockets bronco will be going
So I'm milking my transmission as much as I can. Considering skipping this or just going and following the newbs around to try and make her last for a while. Assuming the transmission dosent feel noticeably worse, I think I'll go.
why limp it? If you blow it up (at gilmer) it will lead to more investment, and a better transmission...... Isn't that what this whole club is about? blow it up, take pictures, build it stronger, then try to blow it up again......:flipoff2:
When is everyone planning on leaving/returning? who's all in?
Id really like to go but schoolwork takes priority so im gonna be a "maybe".
Leave Friday, come come back Saturday.
You can't really get a better transmission behind the 2.5L.
Can anyone tow me? Someone is letting me borrow their trailer.
I am done with work at 6 on friday but I can load it up on thursday so we can depart at around 6:30
I was thinking more, leave friday, return Sunday
What kind of wheeling is this? Ill probably end up going, but if I do I'd like be there friday-sunday.
Gilmer is actually somewhat more organized than Alto. In theory it is run by the state. There is an old crotchity man at the entrance that no one likes (yes I know this is a public thread, I don't care if people read it). Other than that the campsites are decent, bathrooms are clean. As for wheeling it is hill climbs like the ones at Alto, but better. There are no mud pits. Trails are named, labeled, and have ratings in front of them.
I am done with class at 1:10. So I was thinking about leaving around 2 or 2:30.
I dont know if the bronco will make it. As the week goes on i'll find out.
Would it be worth my time to head up on Friday, wheel some of Saturday, and then head to Waco for the game?
I'm in; Corey is towing me... This should be a good shakedown run. Can't wait.
The truck is coming along nicely
