1983 Bronco should have a Ford 9" rear
-no idea on the t-case
71-73 Mustang 61.25 inches WMS - WMS
Toyota rear: who cares? :flipoff2:
hey cheif....i think 81 or 82 was the last year of the 9"
are you considering putting a ford rear under the mazda?
I checked the Powertrax website and it had both listed from 1983 to 1986.

Ford 9 was used until 86, 8.8 was from 83 to 86 - in fullsize Broncos
you get whatever they had sitting in the pile that day.
my 85 has a 8.8.
I know someone who wants less than $500 for an 83 Bronco with an NP435. The body has some bad rust on the lower parts of it.
He also has a Mustang with a 9", but he wants $400 for the axle alone....
after 1980 the 9" was only used in 4wds
BUMP!
what vehicle used rectangle headlights and has a good, solid attachment/adjustment mechanism for them that could be retrofitted to uglytruck without too much trouble? I'm talking less springs and tabs, more screws
What the flashlight didn't work so well?!? :D
yj?
flashlights kicked ass...somehow it didn't cross my mind to put on a glove when driving with my hand hanging out the window? :D
YJ may be a good option. Hell, the cherokee may even be a good option. Yota ones just use the a crappy attachment system with a spring and these two crappy screws that go through a couple tabs that bend. I just need something I can weld into the existing sockets that will result in a solid adjustment and attachment system.
would cheapy off road lights or traqctor type lights not be a good option?
want DOT approved
Gotya, that was the only thing I could figure. Going to keep ugly truck street legal eh?
80's wagoneer have a steel bucket held on by 3 screws and still has a square headlight that can be adjusted
what about snow plow lights, i bet you could get a good cheap set in a few months
Hippie Clayton will be parting a waggie with square lights soon, if you can't find some up in Colorado, I'll snag them for you when we cut it down. He prolly won't much for them.
cool thanks if you don't mind holding them for me, I should be able to find some up here though...
