That sounds like a good deal. I hope I can make it
anyone else want to go to this. I think I may try if a few more people go
Yeah Ill go for sure, weather should be good, so camping will be great
I hear Gilmer is really good about a month before that event!
yeah, but I have to many problems to fix and not enough time to do it in to be ready for the gilmer trip in a couple of weeks
i also hear there are lots of scout purist fags too at this same moment in time. :flipoff2:Quote:

it should be fun, I know the trails out there well enough to keep moving, they key is to just stay in the front of the group
Your trail leader may disagree.Quote:

Anyone else want to go to this? Since I missed October Trailfest in Clayton, I think I'm going to try to make this. If nothing else for the social hour. There's a lot of old faces I hadn't seen in a while. Rick Neil is headed up there. For those that don't know who he is, he's an old Ag and was president of FWD-FWD when we started TAMOR. He gave us a lot of guidance on club start-up and introduced us to Clayton... and he's funny as hell and a damn nice guy. So I'm going to try to go. And try to decide by Friday so I can get my early registration in. Let me know if you're planning on going.
I think most of the people who orignally wanted to go to this decided the 70 dollar entrance fee that did not cover camping and only allowed you to run a set number of trails was just not worth it. Why don't you come with us this weekend instead?
no, I am not going, I can't really afford it
Not this weekend. I'm going to Alto to watch the redneck comedy. Besides, I'm mainly going to Superlift for social hour. To catch up with people that it seems like I haven't seen since my former life (i.e. before starting a business in 1999). I was just at Gilmer two weekends ago. However I do understand the money thing. It's even a little steep in my book and I'm in a whole different tax bracket. (but my Jooness makes up for it, right Flem)
wait, $70 for this event? a years membership to gilmer is $40-50. i wont be there. sounds dumb. you should get a free highlift at the gate, or some nylon winch rope, or a new tire of your choice. then id go.
