oh gosh i want it... well elise did want it a while back... i get back to you
You must have noticed how I stratigically placed the picture with her in the passenger seat ;) If you would like, I can cut and past her into the driver seat so she can picture herself driving it
AC?
Has the body taken any hits since I last saw it?
How fast can it go?
About 25mph downhill :D
I drive it to the airport every now and then and it holds 70 just fine. Sometimes you have to downshift to 4th...
It has an AC but a hose broke off a long time ago and we never fixed it.
i still have yet to tell elise. if noone buys it soon we just might... i dunno if there is enough parking at my apartment though for another rig though... i see what she says

It's a tribute to George!!
is the cage connected to the body or the frame??
body damage??
what kinda shape is the interior in??
Body Damage? Of couse theres Body Damage! It's an off-road truck silly :D As Scott would say..."Just get a bigger hammer, it'll come out". I'm not sure how true that is...the dents are still there  The roll cage is not bolted to the frame, however it is reinfoced with steel plates on the tub. The back bench seat is still in good condition (we havn't used it, it's been sitting in the garage). The front seats each have a tear along the seam of the seat and thats about it. There is no carpeting and no rust. The dash is fine too, no cracks, everything works. Oh yeah, the check engine light has been on for about 3 years.
today i told elise that i closed my mutual funds (they have gained big over the years but have dropped 300$ in the last 2 months) and that next week when i get the check in the mail that i wont have any credit card debt at all. This made her a little happy... she made the comment maby we can afford the jeep. she has money in the bank so maby give me a couple days and we have the cash
To clarify:Quote:

Body damage:
1) new dent on front left fender - I might flat-fender it to make it look better.
2) small dent on the right fender from bouncing into a tree. This doesn't look too bad
3) bent near antenna and door hinges from the first two pictures in this thread
4) small dent on the top of passenger side rear quarter panel (not too bad)
5) small dents on bottom of rear quarter panels on both sides (not bad at all)

SOLD
to some guy who saw it on the side of the road when I parked it across the street.
Sorry guys...
it is a sad day... i didnt think it would really leave the club
Congrats, now get to work! October Trailfest is coming up fast. :)
I had hell getting the doors to fit back on and close... Then I smelt gas and saw gas dripping from behind me after bring it back from the side of the road. Then I was painting the axle and noticed the spring perch was falling off.
Both fuel lines were dry rotted - had to drop the tank to fix those - that sucks.
Had to get out the jack and some pipe to straighten out the body so the doors would go on.
Had to re-weld one spring perch because I noticed that one side had completly colapsed - the other side of the perch's weld never penetrated... After I unbolted the U-bolts the perch fell off  I didn't feel right without fixing that before I sold it.
I am glad that I sold it to someone that I don't know - that thing was destined to have a bunch of problems real soon. I am just a little scared that the guy I sold it too has a girlfriend that lives in my neighborhood and I might have to help him broke down on the side of the road
Lynda's sad - I am happy, one less truck to maintain for a while :gigem:
time to update the sig...
you just need to get that wife of yours to get in the garage more often and work on her stuff. :flipoff2:
You need to stop doing fun stuff that takes up my weekends :gigem:Quote:
