Well, this arrived at the house yesterday and from the looks of it is gonna need some cosmetic surgery before it hits the trails...

I saw the (former) Booger listed on LHOR... Nice buy!
That thing has a long history with their club, it should be fun to cover up that paint.
you should just cover the orange with maroon. otherwise keep it the same. then be sure to post it where they will see it.
Wasn't it orginally Hal's? I thought Cam had it last.
Yep, I ran accross it on LHOR too, and e-mailed Dave (I think that was his name) and he gave me the low-down on it. I felt real good about it after that and dove in head first. I had planned on "maroon outin" the or@nge parts, I think it will look real good like that. Need a name for it though, as Booger is on hold still from an old dog of ours. So this thing needs a paint job and a name. Any good leads to find some maroon, I can get some but its gonna be house paint and don't want to redneck it out...
Maroon won't be hard to find. I think it'll look kickass.
paint 13 - 0 on the side of it and leave it the same color!
Same here, but......Quote:

I think rustoleum makes a pretty good marron
13-0 yes
X43 on the 13-0
I would suggest a longhorn with the horns sawed off as well, but that whole thing is kinda played out.
I think it just looks that way because the front fenders are so hacked.Quote:

I think 13-0 in maroon accross the hood in big letters for the tech katemcy trip, then go ahead and paint it maroon afterwards....
I found some Glidden Enamel Alkyd at Lowe's that's looking very promissing for the bus. Depending on timeframe, I may have some leftover paint for you.
This won't be till first of December, so hurry the hell up. : ;)
so who's going to drive this?
My brother Eric will probably get a lot of seat time in this one, but I hope to see some in it too. I enjoy it when the family comes out with me, so it will see plenty of trails (and give me a good back-up when I am floggin on the cheby and grenade it.)
This came off of the ad on pbb.Quote:

On that transmission. A T4 has a crooked shifter, and a T176 has a straight shifter. The T4 is light duty and shifts easy like a light duty transmission. The T176 is stronger and will shift alot like your 465.
What about torchin it out with a plasma, might give me a good reason to buy one. ;)Quote:

I don't know if the shifter plate not being bolted down would cause this, but that will be the first thing to get fixed.
I was thinking of cutting the "13 v 0" out then backing it with expanded metal and put the center of the 0 back in. Would look kick ass at night with a red light from inside some how.
Somethin like this...

No I was referencing the cliche' "Ninety to nothin" As in, "We were late, so we were running ninety to nothing to get there." :)

Varsity it is then.
SOA will come when the 60/14 in the barn gets put back together, and that will be a pretty good while. Plans are to run H1s on them to keep it a little narrow and run the military 36s on them. I want to keep this one reasonalble.
Dooo Ittt!
ok, tryin to do some web fab today and lookin at tire sizes and axle ratios for the heep. I am thinking the axle swap shouldn't take more than a day or two with having to go get brakelines and other parts and such. I am planning on using the nefarious green 60 that everyone knows of. Can somebody let me know what is in the diffs (as in what gears and are they lincoln locked or what). Also, is there anything that might be wrong with them so I can head this off at the pass before I get home. Any and all help will be much appreciated.
Oh yeah, the plan is to run the 60 and corp 14 with H1's non-recentered to keep it on the narrow side, so will H1's take a 60 high steer. I am thinking yes, but not for sure.
for the high steer on H1's I think there are some special arms so tha the wheels don't rub on on the arms
