yeah he said its an oilless.
The tools are all craftsman, they came as a set for like $350 new.
I remember that kit from when I worked at sears, helluva deal but since it is oilless it is loud as hell. Still a damn good deal.
I'd buy it if I had the room, but the girlfriend is getting a little pissy about room in the garage, as I've added a smoker, a 4wheeler, and a wheelbarrow to the mix in the last 2 weeks.
I am consulting with my ole man. He was thinking about getting a new compressor.Quote:

Jerry can you find out how old it is? What did the guy use it for? Just standard garage use?
What 4 wheeler?Quote:

I think he said he had another 100' air hose too to go with it. I asked him what other tools he had for it besides the impact and air ratchet.

scfm is more accurate...accounts for humidity and barometric pressure or something

pardon me, i missread as i was thinking since i was the only one that had actually offered money that he was talking to me if the other fell thru.

I'm waiting to hear back from him....

Those things are louder than Karl's sister when she gets really excited. They do work, but real loud. I'd just run a separator John.
theres a small one in the shop. it dries the air just fine, but restricts flow too much to operate air tools with. it'd be great for painting i reckon. it never has much water in it so i think the reason it makes dry air is just because it doesnt flow enough air to push the water up the line.
i really didn't need to buy it anyway, i could have but should use the money somewhere else. i wasn't trying to low ball or be to much of a jew. i usually only offer people 20 bucks and a case of beer for stuff. that was a legitimate offer. i looked at ebay earlear and those things were going for 100-200 depending on location so i made an offer in the middle. i hope no offense was taken with my offers and replies
