that is what I was thinking too, but I figured they would be expensive
Well so far McMaster seems to have the cheapest ones. Since they are just going to be used on shifters, I would think aluminum would be strong enough. The aluminum ones are cheaper too. Here are pics of what I'm thinking of.
take a look a kopecki's, not to beat a dead horse, but did you try purvis?
my shifter should be here before long... you can take a look at it firsthand
hey, i just thought of somewhere that might have them locally. they carry lots of bearings and stuff. its over there by cooks napa in bryan. i think its called purvis bearing.
Smiley's has em' in all sizes you could imagine. I could pick them up for you whenever I go home again sometime this week.
Ok ok I'll check Purvis. I was busy during what I figured were their business hours today so I didnt have a chance to call.
Oh yah I forgot about speedway. Speedway jumps into the lead at $8 each.
