The YJ
well linda's old dana 35 that was transplanted under my brothers YJ finally took a dump, and we got a case of the "while i'm at it's"
did a spring over, 8.8 swap, and swapped in an np208
just waiting on a few parts to come in and it'll be done
Those of you with sprung over YJ's, how bad is the steering with just a drop pitman arm?

hey robert....how did you talk your dad and him into letting you do that to it? last time i was there hty were both totally against the idea....

those 33"s dont fit worth a damn on a 2" body lift and he finally realized that
body lift is coming off in the next few days too

Shouldn't be much different than a CJ. Stock arm is the same length. Dont get a procomp arm, it will make your turning radius suck, I have one laying around, but I'd feel bad if I even just gave it to anyone. Waggy drop pitman arm rewelded and tapered for d30 TREs seems to be best. Steering wasn't bad, except for the turning radius was worse than my dodge (yes really, no bull****, could make the turn at the bank in the dodge, but not in jeep)

I'm still running just the drop pitman and it seems to steer better then when I was SUA...not nearly as much play. Steers pretty well now
Are those stock springs?? Looks like a little arch in em, but I may be going blind
