My opinion is weld rear, run what you have. Build as it breaks for the most part....

weld the rear, leave the front open.... i ran 36s on my d44s for 3 years and finaly broke a rear shaft after putting it in a wicked bind, and thats with a tbi 350 and frosty beverages........ fix all...
