PM Classic City Off-road for a quote on Pirate. Pretty great price with free shipping.
I ordered a Warn M8000-S, should be here today.
Happy early Birthday to me!
Please excuse the crappy cell phone pictures...

Corbeau JPs with Seat heaters. I ordered...
I cross shopped them with BFG KM2s. Iirc the MT/R has a stiffer sidewall, not quite as good in the rocks. They were a bit heavier than a similar sized BFG as well.
Most TJ/LJ folks seemed to...
Most of the wheeling I have done was further South and towards the Arkansas river valley.
When are you taking the trip? I'll be there after by the beginning of August.
Looks like a fun little project! Iron block/aluminum heads? I don't know anything about the 8.1s.
I can't even recall the last time I reclined my factory seat. On most trips my tool boxes and cooler inhibit recline anyways.
I am moving to Denver in the next 6 weeks and decided to downsize so...
I've been chipping away at some basic stuff. Replacing power steering lines, etc.
Looking to order some suspension seats as my factory seats are very far gone. Any opinions on Corbeau JP?...
So I've been distracted and never quite got the Jeep back together. Purchased a house, and have been traveling quite a bit for work.
I've been itching to buy a new vehicle, but wanted to get the...
I've done a few things in the last few months...
Axles:
HPD30 swap:
Reinforced lower control arm brackets
Lower Conrol arm skid plates
thicker factory style diff cover
Parts for these things have continuously increased in price, and my interest is slightly wavering. Probably going to part out my non-turbo RX7.
When I'm done revamping my TJ, I'm looking for a...
I'm a little late to the party, but nice numbers!
In for microsoft paint diagram :flipoff2:
Sounds and looks like a hell of a time. I'll definitely have to tag along next time.
Potentially in.
Thanks, but I sourced an HP30 locally.
I've had the compressor you ordered for a few years, it's a little slow but it does the job.
It's been a while since I purchased it, but I think it might have been this box: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TAY-48100/?rtype=10
Truck is looking great!
Chris Scotti wheeled the Rubicon a few years back.
I think this will be the first summer in years I don't make it out to Colorado.
How often is the Jeep being started/driven?
FWIW the battery box (as NHRA rules required for in cab mounts, IIRC) I used when I relocated the battery in my RX-7 was drilled with a vent hose. Also, the box I helped put in my friends car also...
Would I be open to a D44? Yes. But, a front TJ D44 (Rubicon) isn't worth the money. I already have a rear TJ D44, so I don't want to have to deal with different widths, bolt patterns, etc.

Money
weight
over-kill
simplicity
lack of fabrication skillz
ground clearance
My Jeep probably makes around 100whp, weighs some where around 3600 lbs, and runs 33"s.
One day. but...
Yeah, I messaged you back.

You should really use weld on buckets IMO.
I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the D44 is about an inch longer and has a different yoke. You'll need a sye, drive shaft, and adjustable control arms.
There are a couple decent write ups...
