For the gas tank they sell a repair kit, I am not sure if it is worth it but for the 10 or so it cost I tried it for my fj40, I will know in a few weeks when i get back into the states how it is...
I assume you have checked for debris in the carb/tank? also is your fuel/oil mix exact or close?

if you don't want to hard mount an antenna just get a magnetic one that you keep behind your back seat or in your tool box

i am running all stock no mods at the master cylinder with a dodge 60 front and 3/4 ton chevy fronts on the rear and it seems to work great, either that or i dont know its bad so i dont know to fix it

it seems people only bash unit bearing axles when they have to replace the unit bearing cause of the cost, i havent seen much on the strength difference but i wouldnt think it would be too different...
search youtube, i am sure there is a vidoe or two on there that would be helpful, or take the third to a reputable shop and see if they will take a quick look at it for you

is fuel pressure constant when you rev it? it could be a slightly clogged fuel filter or injector
the 'majic' formula is to start lifting heavy stuff and see when they break, then you will know, its kind of like being in the lab :flipoff2:
karl, i am running stock 52's for my fronts with the overload removed and the wrap is not very noticable at all, for my rear i am running stock 52's with the overloads and there is a little wrap but...
you could be low on fluid, or maybe the pump is going out
