Harbor freight, chicago electric, 10,000lb. My cousin has the 8,000 on his XJ and it worked pretty good. pulled him and ryan up a hill at trees with no problems. I don't wheel that much so it won't...

got a winch in the front bumper and threw some paint on it. Also built a tire carrier, they both turned out pretty slick. The carrier pic won't lod so i'll have to try later
Alright thats what i was thinking. Correct me if i'm wrong, but with the assist pretty much is just power steering untill the steering gets in a "bind", then it sends pressure to the ram right?

I think the main thing with the switches for the tranny is for the torque converter lock up. so its like a "manual tranny".. my cousin was thinkin about doing the same thing, hasn't done it yet...

The cheroee's have the AW4 tranny which is pretty good. Not sure how long it will last or the cost all I know is that its better than the 42RE I have in my jeep.
