pumped. had a day at gilmer awhile ago and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. got some practice in with the twin stick and doubler. easier to turn with front drive. definitely helps when you...
thurs morning
This turd is ready for clayton!
Well I gave up on the fabricated fuel cell because I had no time since I was about to move out of cs. I just put a 15 gal rci one in the bed.
Now I've got a place to work and covered storage over...
damn, I'm itching to get this damn thing driving again.
This. Although I tested it with water and it catches quite a bit.
yea, it is lower than i would like but with 42s its really not that low. it has some room to get smashed up to the 205 also.
this is what it looks like. the sump doesn't go all the way to the wall of the tank.
my rubber fuel pickup hose idea didn't last in the fuel cell i built, so i'm going to try this with steel line. the supply and return are going to both be at the tip of the sump.
duh. it drove from buda to the show and congress.
cruised lonestar round up and congress last weekend.
back together. mostly.
before you buy a complete steering shaft, look at the borgeson individual parts at summit or something. it was 75 cheaper for me to buy the parts and build it myself.
yea, i thought about tying those holes in somewhere but didn't. it should be fine. i'm about done being under this ****box for now. i plan for that skid plate to have the **** beat out of it and be...
damn making these ****ers eats up time. i make a 3/8 cover for the bushing to weld to. yes, the tube had a gap. no, i wasn't going to make a new piece or make it pretty. i was lazy and didn't want to...
wish i had a tube bender. the rear is about 3/8" lower than the 205 so i can put a plate in between the front and rear. stuff hangs down farther than i would like but its not as bad as the pics show....
thats the plan for the rear one. i just wanted the front one stronger and i don't have a bender. there will be a skid plate. i just wanted to have both crossmembers in first.
not really. there was too much in the way. its higher up than the factory one and i didn't really hang on that. the 205 seems to hang down more... i'm running out of time and its a bitch getting it...
getting there.
the small one was a half ass attempt at a two piece crossmember by ryan and i before clayton.
when i have time and a place to take it apart again.
this whole crossmember thing is turning out to be a pain in the ass. there's not a lot of room with all the shifters and driveshaft **** in...
...
tire joint did a good job. northwest fab doubler stuff is shiney.
the 85 calipers did not have the ridges for the copper washers to seal against. i got 78 ones and they had them. i also got the right banjo bolts from napa.
i'm working on changing out the tres...
what are they off of?
