I have a '06 700 EFI with a broken CV shaft. I pulled the outer already. It is c-clip so I guess I have to pull the whole front-end apart to do it. Lots of stuff to move to do it. No fun.

I'm guessing this is one of those trips you leave the kiddos at home for.
