if I remember correctly, the tubing notcher was $27 dollars. The HF portaband is $60. Yeah, it isn't cheap, but its not that bad
use a portaband. Thats what I use these days after trying tubing notchers, chop saw method, etc. One of those pipemasters help for figuring out where to cut, but even thats not really necessary...
