I think your quart bottles are in backwards
I would bet that they were loose. Check the torque on the bolts next time before you put it on the trailer.
does it have enough volume for 3/4 ton calipers?
why not wait for a used atlas?
well the heat is definitely not good for the pump. my setup gets pretty warm which i why a run a synthetic power steering fluid. no use switching now but if you replace the pump i would use an...
What are you running for fluid in the PS pump? High quality fluid seems to make a huge difference with PSC pumps
get that ram parallel to the tie rod. Like it is there it is going to try and rotate the tie rod
ask tum tum he figured out how to mount it.
drill holes in plate to mount winch
Weld in 1/4 plate
weld on tabs to hold fairlead
hook winch to battery
wheel
get stuck
use winch
how did you get the original pins out? I tried on my jeep but I couldn't get the pins to hammer out
why don't you just get a used atlas and have a better t-case then a polished turd that will crack the case
take a leaf or two out of those spring packs and it should help as well
you should redo your shave and make it match the pinion angle so that the bottom is nice and flat, and add some of that cutting board material so it will slide good
as long as you didn't warp it when you welded it you should probably double check it
I broke tons...4 or 5 maybe thats why I built a 60
whats the point in doing the work if you aren't going to wheel it get some spares and get good at swapping them out
awesome too bad 8 lugs don't help hold your ujoints together
no, I would just get wheel spacers i have some in the rear
yeah but too much back spacing on the wheels gives you a large scrub radius and makes it real hard to turn
stick with the 4.75 backspacing wheels
agreed but that is still alot of weight hanging off the back of an aluminum adapter and I don't think that a CJ was designed to drop off of 3 and 4 foot ledges either. Plus it is easy to support
yeah i bet you had the 300 just hanging off the back
63.5 WMS sounds perfect
yeah it looks good
what is that d44?
