Should we plan on doing something about that ledge?

I guess his TJ wasn't as OVERKILL as he thought...
I say leave it... hell it'd be nice to thrash and roll my EB on the first outing (fervently knocking on wood)...
Which side was he trying to go up? I have made it up the easy side (closest to the entrance) many times in the almost stock Cherokee i used to have.
I hafta finish studying for a test, but just pretend I put that on the "hit it" thread and it says... IT HIT ME
i'll take care of it...can't pass up an opportunity to pad....TWICE
Is airstrip 3 rated? Can you just bump up the rating? I know when I was out there I was looking all over for a 5 diamond to test out the ZJ on, and for some reason I didn't even bother with airstrip. Little did I know it had rollover potential... Is the ledge anythiong like dewoody, or the exit to weenie world? Those were some pretty tough ledges...

By the way when I saw the pic I assumed the girl was driving since she appears to be crying and all...
Don't know the official rating, but it is considerably nastier than it was just a few months ago. The ledge has a 42" Swamper sized hole at the bottom of it. Even before it was that deep, the last time I tried it, I got hung up on my skid plate and my little rear tires had narry a chance of following the front up. The ledge also has a nasty habbit of throwing rigs sideways if they are driven with too much skinny pedal. If I had to guess, this person tried to bump it up the ledge.Originally posted by Krawler68

The by-pass is worse too but still doable if its dry and you are not completly open. However, Jimmy couldn't get up it when it was wet despite 35's and lockers.
Just when you though it was safe to go back in the water...
This is Lissa standing in front of the ledge that the TJ rolled on, it came to her waist easily, she is a midget, but that is still probably a 2.5' ledge. It is probably bigger now that the ones on dewoody, and it pretty damn steep there.

That looks exactly like Dewoody:
Except that it's only 1 step isntead of 1 big one and bunch of smaller ones...
Too bad I would have liked to try it out.
Here's the only decent pic of weenie world I got:
It seems like these steps must form really easily in the clay since all the hard trails have them.
